Meet the team
I love helping others with their real estate dreams, whether buying, selling, or investing. My focus is on developing lifelong relationships with each and every one of my clients and delivering results that exceed expectations, so they feel confident recommending me to their friends and family, and even strangers. I grew up in a Houston suburb, but moved to the Austin area with my family as soon as possible, fulfilling my dream to live in the Texas Hill Country. We live in the north shore area of Lake Travis, but I work all of the Austin area and surrounding communities. A 6th generation Texan, I love helping others become Texans, too. I have personally been on all sides of transactions … buying, selling, investing, and even building a home on raw land. I bought my first condominium when I was just 20! However, I realize each client’s situation is unique. I work hard to understand their individual needs and concerns. Community is important to me, too, and for over twenty-five years, I have been volunteering for multiple nonprofit organizations…. the PTA, Boy Scouts of America, our church, and many more. Currently I belong to the Lago Vista Chamber of Commerce (I serve as vice president of the board), the Lago Vista Women’s Club, and Preservation Austin. I believe in giving more than just my time, though, and donate a portion of each commission to the nonprofit of my clients’ choice, as a way of saying thank you, to them and to God. Education is key to being the best agent I can be. Through continuous learning, I have earned multiple designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist), CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist), CCS (Certified Condominium Specialist), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). I have been ranked in the top 2.5% of Austin agents for several years. When I’m not working, I love traveling, hiking, and just spending time with my husband, our three grown children, my grandbabies, and friends I have collected along my life’s journey. I’ll take great care of you and anyone you recommend to me, even if they are in the initial stages and it takes a couple of years! For me, it’s about the relationship and coming from contribution. I have a great team supporting me – Claire James, my executive assistant, and Diane Brosig, my transaction manager.
